I sent documents to about 10 companies to apply for jobs in Japan, but I didn't receive any replies. All of my documents and emails at that time were written in English, but one company said, 'I'm interested in working in Japan. I started studying Japanese when I received a reply saying, ``If you want to do that, Japanese is important.'' At first, I studied on my own, but I realized that it wasn't enough, so I enrolled in a Japanese language school.
After taking the JPT test, I thought it would be helpful for learning Japanese. Compared to other Japanese language proficiency exams, results are announced and transcripts are issued quickly.
Since I was able to use my JPT score in my job hunting, I would like to apply to various companies and take on the challenge.

The reason I decided to study Japanese was because I wanted to study in Japan. I've been in Japan for two months, but I took the exam because I wanted to know my current level of Japanese.
JPT is held every month, so it's very convenient. After actually taking the exam, I realized what skills I lacked, such as honorific language, the ability to understand the content of conversations, and the ability to respond appropriately to questions.
From now on, I would like to try interviewing in Japanese.

Four months after coming to Japan, I wanted to know my current level of Japanese, so I took the JPT test.
This is my second time taking it, and compared to other Japanese language proficiency exams, JPT has all the questions from N5 to N1 level, so it's easier to understand your level. After taking the exam, I discovered that my ability to read and write honorific language, kanji, and sentences was weak.
From now on, I want to try my hand at university studies.

From now on, I want to do my best to be able to speak with Japanese people.

I took the JPT because I wanted to measure my ability to pass JLPT N1 and above, and I also wanted to know my current level of Japanese. When I actually took the test, I thought I could measure my ability above N1, and I realized what abilities I lacked. I also liked that JPT is similar to TOEIC® and there are no failures.
It was an opportunity to learn about my Japanese language ability, so I want to work harder on my Japanese so I can get a job.

I am studying in Japan because I like Japanese culture and people.
After taking the JPT, I thought it would be advantageous for me to find a job in Japan. Also, compared to other Japanese language certification tests, I liked the fact that it has questions for all levels, so I could better gauge my Japanese level. I thought I was weak in grammar, honorifics, ability to understand the content of conversations, ability to respond appropriately to questions, and reading and writing Kanji characters, so I will continue to study these skills by myself while studying at school.
I want to work in Japan in the future, so I want to improve my Japanese.

CHANG AI-LUEN
(TAIWAN・Student)
Because of the influence from my parents, I started learning Japanese. And I took JPT to measure my Japanese ability above level N1.
Since JPT doesn’t determine whether you pass or fail, there are no feeling of frustration. On the contrary I felt that this time I should study harder and get a higher score. And this time there was a topic about semi-conductor in the reading section of the test, I think I have learned something from it. And I think this test will be advantageous for job hunting in Japan.
From now on, in order to be a connecting bridge between Taiwan and Japan, I would talk more with Japanese to increase my Japanese senses.

I am studying Japanese because I love Japan and love Japanese culture.
I took this test in order to measure my Japanese language ability above level N1 in JLPT, but since I realized that my grammar, vocabularies, and my ability to reply appropriately to questions was weak, this test became a good reference. Furthermore, the plus point of this test is that we can take this test every month.
I will start reading Japanese book because I want to be able to speak and read like native Japanese.

I started learning Japanese because I want to learn about animation in Japan. And I took the test because I feel that it would be advantageous to pursue a higher education and work. And since the test includes a lot of questions from all levels, I was able to know which part I was lacking. And I feel that it will be a good reference for learners.
I realized that I was lacking in vocabularies, respectful form, and the abilities to write and read kanji, I am going to learn by speaking with my Japanese friend, and writing more kanji. And I want to get the score equivalent to N1 level, and to be more fluent in speaking Japanese.

Since JPT is a score format, we don’t have to worry about passing or not passing the test. And we can know our Japanese language ability easily by taking this test.
It was my first time taking the test, but since the examiner was kind, I feel that I was able to show my potential.

I started learning Japanese in university, but I have learned by watching anime long before.
I took JPT because I wanted to measure my Japanese ability above N1,and I am happy to be able to answer more types of listening and reading questions because of it. I was quite nervous when I first took the test, but I was able to answer the questions by thinking of what I have learned until today. And I feel that I was able to show my real ability because I could really concentrate that I felt time was moving so fast.
This time, the test made me realize my weak points, and I want to get a better score next time by focusing on grammar and vocabulary more.
